I chose to do my assignment on the social issue of gambling. I went to the poker room in Jacksonville. Once there I met one of the pitbosses, George, who told me that photography was frowned upon in gambling establishments but there were a few things I could take pictures of. I found it funny that George told me I could not take pictures of the ceiling or of the patrons. He was also very concerned about the angle of my camera when I was taking pictures.
